i went to a midnight show
at two am i stepped outside
into the still hot night
the moon
looked as if it had been chopped in half
by a butchers blade
a giant globe
a jokers face
this video is a combination of footage from a family video from 1994 and a trip i took last spring on the train from chicago to albuquerque. the stills were taken a couple years ago of the moon in brooklyn during the lunar eclipse.
